Our Beginnings.
Pro Scoop was born in Melbourne in 2019 from a simple but frustrating question: why are we still throwing away millions of plastic scoops?
Founder Andrew Bou Sejean — an Industrial Design Engineer and regular gym-goer — saw the same problem over and over. Disposable scoops buried in powder. Missing scoops. Hands digging through tubs. Perfectly usable plastic used once and tossed away.
It didn’t make sense.
The solution was simple and elegant: embed a reusable scoop directly into the shaker bottle. No more digging. No more frustration. No more single-use plastic scoops heading to landfill or our oceans.
But what started as a better shaker quickly became something bigger.
Reducing single-use scoops was never just about scoops. It was about challenging the “make, use, dispose” mindset that quietly dominates the fitness industry. It was about proving that convenience and sustainability can — and should — coexist.
Pro Scoop was designed to solve a problem. It evolved to start a movement.

We don’t have a prejudice against single-use scoops.
